Gina Carter, NALP, CAM
Systems Administrator

A vital supporter of on-site staff, Gina Carter serves as our Systems Administrator and has been with the Blue Ridge team since 2001. She received her National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) designation through the National Apartment Association in 2004 and her Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) designation in 2005. Actively involved with the Piedmont Triad Apartment Association, she currently serves on the Programs committee. In 2004 Blue Ridge Property Management awarded her with the Marketing and Management Team Member of the Year Award.

Fred Kicsak, CAMT
Maintenance Director

Fred joined the Blue Ridge team in 2000 as a maintenance technician and was promoted to Regional Maintenance Supervisor in April 2007. Fred is actively involved in the Triad Apartment Association, holding the Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) designation through the National Apartment Association as well as certifications for CFC, HVAC and Journeyman’s card. He is an instructor for the Triad Apartment Association (TAA) as well, having taught CAMT, CAM and CFC courses. Fred brings over 18 years experience to the company. He was recognized as Maintenance Supervisor of the Year in 2003 for both Blue Ridge and TAA.

Emily Sundseth
Property Management Support

Emily has been with Blue Ridge since 2002. During her tenure she has served in various on-site capacities including Assistant Manager and Property Manager and has fulfilled several roles within various Blue Ridge affiliate companies. Emily currently supports Blue Ridge Property Management from the home office. She is actively involved in the Piedmont Triad Apartment Association where she continues to contribute to a variety of committees and activities including the Programs Committee, the Second Harvest Food Drive and Toys for Tots.

Paul Marshall
Marketing Anaylist

Paul joined Blue Ridge in 2009 bringing 15+ years marketing and branding experience. He brings a wealth of knowledge in marketing, corporate branding and project management. While at American Express, Paul was responsible for marketing and brand placement for the US and Canada, including developing new point of purchase advertising products, creative design and distribution. In his current position, Paul will focus on community website re-development, portfolio branding, advertising and marketing initiatives and customer service strategies. In keeping with his years of community service participation, Paul works with the Triad Apartment Association on community outreach projects.

Nikol Edwards, NALP
Marketing Director

Nikol join our company in July 2011. She has a unique perspective of multifamily marketing and has experience from both the on-site and vendor partner sides. She holds her NALP designation from NAA and has attended the NAAEI Advanced Instructor Training. She was awarded Leasing Professional of the Year by the PTAA in 2002.

Tami Fossum, CAPS
Vice President - Management Services

Tami has been with Blue Ridge since 2005 and serves as Regional Asset Manager. Tami’s region covers the greater Charlotte area, South Carolina, and Virginia. She brings to the company over 18 years of property management experience. Tami holds her Certified Apartment Property Supervisor (CAPS) designation through the National Apartment Association, Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP) designation, South Carolina Real Estate Salesperson license and is a licensed Real Estate Broker in North Carolina. Tami has been actively involved in the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association (GCAA) since 1993 and currently serves on the Board of Directors as Treasurer. The GCAA recognized Tami in 2003 as Manager of the Year, 2005 as Volunteer of the Year and Instructor of the Year in 2007. In 2006, she joined the National Apartment Association Education Institute (NAAEI) faculty.

Tammy Oglesby, CAPS
Regional Asset Manager

Having over 20 years of experience in property management, Tammy has been with Blue Ridge since 1999 and serves as Regional Asset Manager. Tammy’s region covers eastern North Carolina west of Raleigh. In addition to being a licensed North Carolina Real Estate Broker, she holds the Certified Apartment Property Supervisor (CAPS) designation through the National Apartment Association. Tammy is actively involved in the Wilmington and Cumberland County Apartment Associations (CCAA). Currently, she is serving on the board of directors for the CCAA and is co-chairing the Legislative Committee for CCAA.

Royce Hawley, CPM
Regional Asset Manager

Royce Hawley has 25 years experience in the property management field. He is experienced in a number of different areas of property management including conventional apartments, subsidized housing, tax credit properties, student apartments, elderly housing, and non-profit housing. He is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) and currently holds his North Carolina real estate brokers license. He is a member of the Institure of Real Estate Management (IREM), Greesnsboro Regional Realtors Association (GRRA), and Triad Apartment Association (TAA). He has served on the Board of Directors for the Triad Apartment Association a number of years including several stints as its Treasurer. He was named Triad Apartment Association`s “Volunteer Of The Year” in 2006 and in 2009 was recognized with the Lifetime Service Award.

Terry Ragland, CAM
Regional Asset Manager

Terry Ragland joined Blue Ridge as a Regional Asset Manager in April, 2010 and has 20 years experience in the property management industry. Terry holds a NC Real Estate broker’s license, a CAM (Certified Apartment Manager) designation and is currently working towards her CPM (Certified Apartment Manager) designation through IREM. She has served as an executive board member and President of the Triangle Apartment Association and currently represents that association at the state level as a board member for the Apartment Association of North Carolina. On the national level, Terry serves on the Program Administration Committee for the National Apartment Association Education Institute.
Her love for education and training is evident as she regularly facilitates courses for various apartment associations and for the City of Raleigh’s Landlord training program.

Lisa Brown
Regional Asset Manager

Lisa Brown has been working in property management for 12 years. She holds a South Carolina Property Management License, is a member of the Upper State Apartment Association Legislative Committee, and is a National Apartment Association Grassroots member.

Mindy McCorkle, CAM, CAPS
Vice President - Portfolio Operations

Mindy joined Blue Ridge in February 2010, bringing with her 16 years of industry experience. She focuses on development and implementation of programs that promote the optimum operational, financial and business performance of the portfolio. She holds her Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) and Certified Apartment Property Supervisor (CAPS) designations through the National Apartment Association. She is also a graduate of the National Apartment Association Advance Instructor Program. She has served as a board member for the Greater Charlotte Apartment Association since 1999 and for the Triad Apartment Association since 2008. She also currently serves as Secretary for the Apartment Association of North Carolina. Among several awards she has received, she is most proud of the prestigious National Apartment Association Professional Designate of the Year she received in 2006.

Susan Passmore, CAM, CAPS
Executive Vice President

Susan has been with Blue Ridge since 2001 and serves as the Director of Property Management. She holds Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) and Certified Apartment Property Supervisor (CAPS) designations through the National Apartment Association. She is also a graduate of the National Apartment Association Leadership Lyceum. Susan is a licensed North Carolina and South Carolina Real Estate Broker and has over 15 years of multi-family property management experience. Serving as past board member and a two time president for the Triad Apartment Association as well as past Secretary for the Piedmont Triad Chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (PTCREW), she currently serves as President Elect for the Apartment Association of North Carolina.
